The first C1 patch to Composite C1 is released on may 28, 2008. The patch offers a number of visible improvements 

The primary performance improvements are:

• System boot up time and Datatype compilation times have been improved
• Dynamic DLL  generation produce only one assembly, reducing ASP.NET compile times by 50%, making the UI initialization after code changes twice as fast.
• Optimization on HTML-editor
• Numerous minor improvements on both server and client
• Performance related improvements for the upcoming FireFox 3

New features are:

• Full HTTPS support in the administrative console.
• The installer is now MSI based
• Datatypes rendered with a Visual Function now display Image Reference fields as a HTML image, not as a file path. Page link fields are shown as page links.
