Composite 3.8 System Requirements

Requirements vary for different combinations of components within Composite 3.8. Review the table below to determine the minimum system requirements for running Composite 3.8.

Minimum Requirements

Processor	450-megahertz (MHz) Pentium II-class processor, 600-MHz Pentium III-class processor recommended
Operating System	Composite 3.8 can be installed onto the following systems: - Microsoft Windows Server 2003 - 32 bit (SP1 or later recommended) - Microsoft Windows XP, English - 32 bit (for developer purposes) - MSXML v. 6 - MDAC v. 2.7 or later - Microsoft .NET Framework v. 2.0 MS DTC Service must be running.
Internet Information Server	Microsoft IIS 6, ASP and ASP.NET 2.0 enabled The SMTP Service is required for e-mail functionality
Memory	Windows Server 2003: 256 MB of RAM (512 MB of RAM recommended)
Hard disc	12 MB of available space required on installation drive.
Database System	Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (any version) or Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (any version) MS DTC Service must be running. SQL Server authentication must be "mixed mode" - supporting Windows accounts as well as names SQL Server logins.
Clients	The administrative module can be used from the following systems: Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, 2003 and Vista with Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later installed. Internet Explorer should have the following settings under "Internet options": General -> Temporary Internet Files -> Settings -> Check for newer versions of stored pages = Automatically Security -> Internet -> Custom Level -> Scripting -> Active scripting = enable Security -> Internet -> Custom Level -> Miscellaneous -> Drag and drop or copy and paste files = enable
